Wife’s Involvement – Good Sign for Akkineni?

Naga Chaitanya Akkineni’s next movie is going to be with Rx 100 director Ajay Bhoopathi. It’s not just Chay, but his wife Samantha also heard the narration of the script from the director. Apparently, Both Chaitanya and Samantha liked the script and hence, gave the nod for the blockbuster director.

After a dud like Savyasachi, Sam-Chay combo delivered a much-needed blockbuster. Not just the blockbuster but the movie turned out to score the highest solo openings in the US for Naga Chaitanya till date. However, one must not overlook the biggest problem when it comes to Naga Chaitanya and i.e., his inconsistency. The lack of judgement while selecting the script happens to be one of the reasons for this inconsistency. Chay has ‘Venky Mama’ with his uncle Venkatesh. The combination itself ensure a decent opening for the movie.

Besides Venkatesh’s presence, the movie will be coming right after ‘Majili’ and therefore, will have an added advantage. After that, Chay with the blockbuster director of ‘Rx 100’ will create a good interest among the trade and the audiences. Looks like Chay is getting on to the right track.
