Samantha Begins New Assignment In Hyderabad Outskirts

Samantha who finished the first assignment of her career with an item song in Pushpa has moved on to her new project, Yashoda. The movie which is going to release in five major Indian languages has started its regular shooting today in Gandipet, the outskirts of Hyderabad after the Pooja Ceremony.

This is the first film of Samantha to go on floors after her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. The makers are planning to complete the entire shooting by March 2022 and the release date will be announced after that. Samantha will be playing an author-backed role in Yashoda, which is said to be a thriller that has a new-age plot.

Directed by director duo Hari and Harish, the movie is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad who bankrolled films like Aditya 369, Sammohanam, and several others. Mani Sharma composes music for the film which has dialogues by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr. Challa Bhagya Lakshmi.

The details of the other cast will be announced soon. The movie will be released in a total of five Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, the makers say.
