Samantha Overcomes 2nd Heroine Jinx

Normally whenever a film maker gets ready with a story , he first decides upon the hero and the heroine of the film. After finalising the lead pair, the rest of the star cast gains importance. Sometimes by demand of the script or else box-office formula, a second heroine comes in as an added attraction. Samantha, who is considered the top heroine in Tollywood found herself in the same position.

Besides Trivikram’s movie in Telugu and Vikram’s in Tamil, Samantha has agreed for a couple of projects in Kollywood. One of them is Dhanush film which is going to commence shooting very soon. ‘I’ fame Amy Jackson was roped in as the heroine of the film first and later came in Samantha. Naturally many thought that she is going to be the second fiddle as Sammy isn’t that big a star in Kollywood as she is in Tollywood.

Putting end to the rumours, Dhanush clarifies that both Amy Jackson and Samantha will get equal footage in the film and hence there is no main heroine and second heroine in his next movie and both the actresses are the main heroines in his film. With this clarity Samantha’s fans can be rest assured that their favourite heroine isn’t going to belittled as second fiddle.
