Samantha replaces Kajal in sequel?

The latest buzz in the film world is that well-known actor Vijay and popular director A R Murugadoss will be teaming up for another time almost a year later. The duo was last seen together in their super hit movie ‘Thuppaki’ which received worldwide acclaim. Although this news has not been confirmed officially rumors suggest that their upcoming flick together will be sequel to ‘Thuppaki’ and will probably hit the shooting floors early next year. A little birdie from Chennai media contact says sequel will have a new story line and will not kick off where prequel ends.

It has been reported that the upcoming film will star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female instead of Kajal Agarwal. The music director has also been replaced with Anirudh Ravichander as the new director. The renowned director is currently filming the Hindi remake of ‘Thuppaki’ featuring well-known Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
