Samantha Skips Voting In MAA Elections

Samantha who is trying to evade media after the divorce announcement has skipped the voting in MAA elections. The actress happens to be a life member of the association. The actress has decided to avoid any chances of media interaction for some time.

Naga Chaitanya also skipped the voting even though he attended the Most Eligible Bachelor Pre-release event a couple of days ago. However, Nagarjuna and Akhil have attended and cast their votes. Nagarjuna did not speak to the media at the polling station.

Meanwhile, at the closing of polling time at 3 PM, 605 members have cast their vote in the election. Another 60 members have availed their vote through postal ballot. Taking the total polled votes to 665 (72% Voting Share). All the members who are in queue lines by 3 PM were allowed to vote. This is the highest voter turnout in the history of MAA. The previous highest is around 460 votes.

There are 925 members in total in MAA and 883 of them have voting rights. The results will be out later tonight. Both Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj camps are in high tension about the result. Since the polling has happened on Ballot papers, the counting will take time and so, the result may be delayed.
