Samantha’s First Direct Comment About Divorce

After parting ways with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had been sharing cryptic social media posts about her mindset post the divorce, but she never really spoke directly about the whole development.

Now, in her latest interview with a Bollywood media portal, Samantha came up with an interesting comment about the personal turmoil she had to bear in 2021.

“After all the personal things that happened in 2021, I have no expectations. All my carefully laid plans crumbled,” Samantha said, referring to the split. She is clearly implying that she had made so many plans with Chaitanya but all of them came down crumbling after the couple decided to part ways for undisclosed reasons.

Samantha is turning active in films again, and she has indeed altered her course. She is featuring in an item song in Pushpa, and is also on the cusp of announcing her maiden Hindi film. She seems to be determined to make a striking comeback after facing a tough year that took a toll on her personally.
