Sameera Reddy engaged on her birthday

In a very pleasing turn of events, actress Sameera Reddy has gotten engaged with her boyfriend. The guy in her life is Akshai Varde who is running a company that builds custom made bikes and his company has designed the bikes for Akshay Kumar in OMG! Oh My God. The same company has also designed a special bike for Nandamuri Balakrishna in Legend as well.

The two of them met when a mutual friend introduced them and they got on very well over their shared passion for bikes and biking. This led to further intimacy and they dated for well over a year and have finally gotten engaged on the 14th of December, which is also her birthday. The engagement was a family affair and Sameera has herself confirmed the news.

In her own words, it was a very happy turn of events and Sameera explained that they got engaged in December because her sister had come down from Greece and even her beau’s family was there for the event. Most likely the couple should have a wedding in 2014.
