Vanga reacts to Revanth Reddy’s reply

Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently had a fun interaction with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his upcoming film Spirit. Vanga posted about the proposed international airport in his hometown Warangal and suggested names like Rudrama International Airport or Kakatiya International Airport to reflect the region’s history. He also thanked the Chief Minister for making the project happen.

Revanth Reddy replied to Vanga’s post with a simple line: “That’s the SPIRIT..!!”

Vanga found the reply surprising because That’s the Spirit is also a line he has used in his film Spirit. He quoted the Chief Minister’s reply and pointed out that he had written exactly the same line in his film. He added that hearing those words from the “right person” made them feel different and said he was genuinely excited.

But social media, as usual, found something to troll. Users mocked Vanga for explaining the connection so seriously when “That’s the spirit” is one of the most common expressions in the English language. Some joked that Vanga was behaving as if he had invented the phrase specifically for Spirit.

Revanth Reddy’s quick response was genuinely witty and timely. But Sandeep Vanga’s reaction does come across as a little too much. “That’s the spirit” has been used for decades in everyday conversations, speeches, films and public life.

Vanga’s elaborate explanation almost made it seem as if the Chief Minister had unknowingly cracked a clever reference to Spirit, and Vanga had discovered something special in it.

For once, the trolls may have had an easy target handed to them by Sandeep Vanga himself.
