In the film industry, getting the first chance and scoring a success itself is a less probable event. Not many directors are able to have a successful launch to their careers, and this is in tuned with the low success rate in the industry as well.

But beyond that, taking this early push forward and delivering another success with the second film is becoming an even tougher task.

Not many directors in the recent past, have been able to capitalise in the early success and come up with another good film for the second attempt. Several young film makers have failed at this step in the recent months itself.

Perhaps this is where Sandeep Reddy Vanga is to be different altogether as he is able to maintain that success streak pretty well. Technically speaking, Kabir Singh is his second film, but considering that this is the remake of Arjun Reddy, it can be exempted from the list.

In that case, Animal can be regarded as his second film and people might have different opinions on this, but nevertheless, it was a tremendous success at the ticket counter. The way certain emotions are handled and the subsequent success of the film at the ticket counters is a big boost.

At a time, when young film makers are struggling to maintain success ratio, Sandeep delivered a ₹900 crore film in the form of Animal. He is currently working on one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema in the form of Spirit and if this film works, then there is no challenging his legacy.

Sandeep recently tasted rejection from the audience in the form of his production film, Romanchakam. He sounded dismissive about the failure of this film, which is not a positive scene for a growing director. So the responsibility is on him to ensure that he keeps his feet on the ground and comes up with a winner again.
