Sandeep Vanga With Chiru: Good Or Bad?

In a viral video on social media, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is seen replying to a question on what sort of an idea he has for Megastar Chiranjeevi in mind if he gets to work with the latter. Vanga quickly replied he would do an action drama.

Mega fans are already on cloud nine after listening to Sandeep say he would do an action drama with Chiru. They are touting this to be the ‘comeback’ film for Chiru.

But there’s a lot more than what meets the eye here. Vanga simply cant make an Animal or an Arjun Reddy with Chiru, given the obvious image of Chiru. He will have to tap into a new side of him if he is to direct Chiru.

With Animal and Arjun Reddy, Vanga had the liberty of showing his heroes in how much ever aggressive manner he wanted. He could induce gore and aggression to the narrative. But with Chiru, he might have to tone it all down with Chiru’s family image and senior star persona in mind. If that happens, there is the risk of him losing his trademark dynamism.

So while on paper, the film between Chiru and Sandeep might look very interesting but there are a lot of ifs and buts here.
