The TVR rating of 23.4 is the top in the last decade and a half. It has surpassed the numbers of Bahubali 1 and 2 which have 21.8 and 22.7 TVR’s, respectively. Duvvada Jagannadham and Fidaa round up the top 5 as far as ratings are considered.
The ratings, while a record, also owe a lot to the lockdown factor. The market is already flooded with reports of how the overall viewership, TV and OTT platform, has increased due to the lockdown.
The combination factor is also there to see. F2, the last movie by director Anil Ravipudi has a TVR of over 17. On the other hand, Maharshi fared poorly with less than 10 TVR. With Sarileru Neekevvaru, everything fell into place perfectly giving it the record numbers.
