Saripodhaa Piracy: Team Must Wake Up?

Nani had a theatrical release last weekend in the form of Sripodhaa Sanivaaram which was released on the 29th of August. But there is one very concerning thing that is happening with this film and this is casual piracy.

Shockingly, several clips from the film are casually being shared on social media. A crucial portion of the interval block, an action sequence with Jakes Bejoy’s BGM are being shared extensively on social media.

Notably, the interval block pirated clip has been on social media for 3-4 days and there is still no action on the same.

Usually, when pirated and copyright stuff surfaces illicitly on social media, the movie teams work proactively and bring them down. Twitter is also receptive to the same as such content is usually brought down in a matter of hours.

But in the case of the pirated clips from Saripodhaa, there is no consolidate action on this front. The clips are still there on social platforms. We can’t share the clips here for obvious reasons.

Luckily, a few of these clips are slowly being taken down. But perhaps more proactive approach is expected from the team.
