Harish Sajja, a well-known Telugu cinema distributor in the USA, has passed away. He died of a heart attack in Atlanta city of the United States.
Harish, under his Ficus distribution company, had distributed many big Telugu films in the United States. He started his distribution career with Jr NTR’s film Rakhi.
He later distributed various big films like Dookudu, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Aagadu, 1: Nenokkadine, Robo, and Race Gurram.
Dookudu, which was the first million-dollar film in Telugu, also made Harish the first distributor to enter Tollywood’s million-dollar club in the USA market. The movie paved way for the OS market to become very crucial for Telugu film industry later.
Harish’s last film as distributor was the 2016 hit, Janatha Garage, featuring Jr NTR.
