Senior Writer Still Targeting Chiru

Writer Yandamuri Veerendranath and Chiranjeevi’s association goes back a long way. They delivered memorable hits like Raakshasudu, Challenge, and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. But after the Stuartpuram Police Station fiasco, they never worked together again as things got bitter between them.

For the past few years, Yandamuri has been targeting the Mega family every now and then. A few years back, he even tried to belittle Ram Charan and his achievements.

Now he is back again in the news for his criticism over the title song of Waltair Veerayya. He made some satirical comments as he found some of the words used by lyricist Chandrabose objectionable, where he compared Chiru’s character to Lord Shiva. Chandrabose has given him a strong counter regarding this.
