Mythri’s Biggest Project Yet: 300 Cr for Superstar?

According to some wild speculations, Shah Rukh Khan may soon headline one of the most ambitious Indian films ever made, if talks with Mythri Movie Makers materialize.

Fresh off the success of Pathaan and Jawan, SRK is reportedly being offered a staggering 300 crore for the project—a figure that would place him at the very top of Indian cinema’s highest-paid actors.

While official confirmation is still pending, the buzz alone has sent expectations into overdrive.

What makes this deal especially jaw-dropping is not just the actor’s fee, but what it implies about the film’s overall budget. A 300 crore lead salary suggests a production scale unlike anything India has attempted before. Even with a modest budget-to-actor fee ratio, the project could easily be pushing 800 to 1,000 crore in total costs.

This would surpass the scale of RRR, Ramayana, and SSMB29, setting a new benchmark for Indian filmmaking.

The film is expected to be directed by Sukumar, the mastermind behind Pushpa and Rangasthalam. Known for crafting intense, larger-than-life narratives with mass appeal, Sukumar may reinvent SRK’s image entirely.

Mythri, riding high after Pushpa and the moderate success of Jaat with Sunny Deol, appears ready to stake its claim as a pan-India powerhouse.

Such a high-stakes venture comes with immense risk. One misstep could lead to unprecedented losses. But if pulled off, it could redefine Indian cinema on a global stage.

For now, all eyes are on Mythri and SRK as this potential mega-collaboration inches closer to becoming a cinematic milestone.
