Bollywood responding to Chennai Calling

Currently, Chennai is in need of as much help as possible from everyone, whether big or small. Bollywood also began to respond slowly and we know that the first big donation came from ‘Chennai Express’ star hero Shahrukh Khan. He donated Rs.1 crore for the cause. The second Bollywood celeb to donate for the cause is Hrithik Roshan.

The star hero donated an amount of Rs.25 lakhs to the relief done under Ramanaidu Studios, with Rana Daggubati taking the lead for the relief work. Besides the monetary donation, Hrithik Roshan is also extending support for free supply of medicines to the needy people in the flood affected areas of Chennai.

With this help from Hrithik, there is a chance that few more donations might flow from Bollywood celebs to help the flood devastated people of Chennai. Every single penny and every other possible help is the need of the hour for restoring the city to normalcy.
