SRA Continues Maruthi’s Downward Trajectory

If the first Monday is any indication of the how things are going to be in the weekdays, then it can be said without much doubt that Shailaja Reddy Alludu is on its way to being Maruthi’s weakest. There was a significant drop on Monday.

The total collections of the weekend are around 15 Cr Worldwide. The film still has to do close to 25 Cr for breakeven, and that looks impossible going by the first Monday status. Director Maruthi has been escaping an early fatal fall for his last two movies, Babu Bangaram and Mahanubhavudu. They ended up making respectable totals. In the case of Shailaja Reddy Alludu, that may not be possible, and it could be the least among the three.

Still, there is a big second weekend ahead which has two holidays. We have to see if Shailaja Reddy Alludu starring Naga Chaitanya manages to take advantage of that or not.
