Comedian Turned Hero’s Over Talk

Shakalaka Shankar became famous for not only his acts in the popular show ‘Jabardast’ but also for his spoofs on Pawan Kalyan. The comedian has turned hero with the yet to be released movie ‘Shambo Shankara’ and in the latest interview, he talked about the reason why he turned a hero.

Shankar boasted that movies like ‘Geethanjali, ‘Raju Gari Gadhi’ and ‘Anando Brahma’ worked only because of him though there had been a group of popular comedians in those movies. It looked odd when he explained that he was the reason for the success of the above-mentioned movies. It certainly looked like an over talk.

On turning a hero from a comedian, Shakalaka Shankar said that he didn’t get interesting roles after ‘Anando Brahma‘ that could elevate him, further. So, instead of doing blink and miss appearances he wanted to try that would show him in a new light. Hence, turned hero and one of his friends turned the director for the film.

He took the reference of Pawan Kalyan and said that when a hero launches a party and finds out that it didn’t click, then he must launch his own party like Pawan Kalyan did. “I’m following the same (with regard to the films),” said the comedian who seems to have nurtured the airs that several films ran because of only him.
