Samantha To Use It To Her Advantage?

It has been quite a while since a Samantha’s straight Telugu film released in theaters. The wait will come to an end with the arrival of Shakuntalam which has been in the making for quite a while now.

Cut to now, the makers of Shakuntalam have announced that the film will be releasing on the 4th of November.

“November 4th it is. Thank you for the love .. You have always been my strength” Samantha tweeted a few minutes ago.

Well, for starters, there isn’t a single notable Telugu release in November. It appears to be that the makers of Sam’s film are planning to use the free run to their advantage. But it also needs to be noted that November is traditionally a dry month. So, the word of mouth will be the decisive factor in the box office prospects of the Gunasekhar directorial.

The makers have announced that the film will have pan-India release. The film is billed to be a love drama with mythological backdrop. It has Samantha in the central role and Dev Mohan in other important role.
