Top singer recovering fast from cardiac arrest

We have already reported that one of the top1 singers, Shankar Mahadevan suffered a mild cardiac arrest and was immediately admitted to a hospital in Delhi. The doctors diagnosed his condition as mild heart attack and performed angioplasty on him to remove the blocks in the heart.

The singer took to social networking sites to thank his fans who had sent prayers for his speedy recovery. Shankar Mahadevan is recovering soon and soon is going to be discharged from the hospital. Post his heart attack, a charity music concert was cancelled and another singer Sonu Nigam took over in his place.

Shankar has many fans in the country and abroad. His card to fame had been his breathless song. He sang some memorable songs in Telugu too, like the ‘Ghallu Ghallumani’ song for Chiranjeevi in ‘Indra’.
