Shankar playing mind games with Tollywood!

For every task, a plan is essential. That’s why film makers chalk out their pre-production, production and post-production works in detail and come to an understanding on the prospective date for their film’s release. Setting a goal is important. Otherwise everything goes haywire and the cost of production may soar high.

It’s already discussed how Shankar’s ‘I’ would effect the big releases of Tollywood which are said to be hitting theatres the coming Sankranthi season. Big films like NTR and Puri Jagannadh combo tentatively titled ‘Temper’ and Venky-Pawan’s multi-starrer ‘Gopala Gopalla’ are touted to be big releases this coming Sankranthi. When the makers of ‘I’ announced Sankranthi release for ‘I’, naturally it caused a lot of anxiety among cine circles.

Since it is not good to try to be in the field alongside a movie as big as a Rs.180 crores, the makers might have fallen back to re-think about their release dates. Once again the producers of ‘I’ are going to post pone the film’s release from January to February 2015. That means if Tollywood makers had planned how to counter Shankar’s movie, they would have to change their plans and can go for January release. Though unintentional, Shankar’s ‘I’ is playing mind games with Tollywood. Do you agree?
