Shankar just delivered the biggest disaster of his career with Indian 2. While hits and flops are common for any director, the way Shankar delivered an outdated film has raised questions about his future projects. Such is the impact.
His next film is Game Changer with Ram Charan, and the negativity surrounding Indian 2 has already cast a shadow over Ram Charan’s film, which is already struggling with severe delays and uncertainty. Apart from the song “Jaragandi,” which has been trolled online, there isn’t much buzz around this film.
In contrast, Koratala Siva is successfully increasing the hype for NTR’s Devara with each new promotional material. There is talk that senior director Shankar should take inspiration from Koratala Siva’s approach for promoting Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
Shankar’s Game Changer will also be released in Hindi, and it needs the right promotional strategy; otherwise, it will directly impact Ram Charan.
Coincidentally, both Koratala Siva and Shankar will be releasing their movies with the RRR heroes after delivering the biggest disasters of their careers—Koratala with Acharya and Shankar with Indian 2.
