Sharwanand Slips out the Dalapathi Title

Sharwanand, after a long wait of two years, is ready with his action entertainer Ranarangam where he plays a gangster. Sharwa became very busy with promotions of the film now with the theatrical trailer launch done successfully.

The trailer has been received fairly well by the viewers and the hero speaking about the title Ranarangam revealed that they couldn’t fix the title till the last minute and even thought of taking “Dalapathi” for their project. Dapalathi was a cult film which garnered a great success back in the ’90s and was a must DVD to buy for one’s video collection then. Now, why did they have to slip out the Dalapathi Title?

Were they scared of the relative pressure which could come with the build-up of Dalapathi title or couldn’t hold the range? Whatever the reason was, they came up with a fair title Ranarangam for the cinema which we will have to see if apt after the release. Starring Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ranarangam is slated to hit screens on the Independence day.
