Shocking! Bollywood Collapses On Tuesday!

Bollywood has been in shambles post-pandemic. Except for a few exceptions, Bollywood has been giving only disasters after disasters every week. All hopes were pinned on Independence week releases Laal Singh Chaddha and Rakshabandhan.

But all the hopes crashed when both the films failed to even get a decent initial on their first day. Despite having three big national holidays, both the films failed to even cross 50 crores collections. The combined net collection of both the films during their five-day weekend was around Rs. 80 crores.

And the last nail in the coffin came on Tuesday when both the films dropped to less than Rs. 2 crores. The trade analysts say that Laal Singh Chaddha will collect around two crores and Rakshabandhan around 1.8 crores. This has sent shock waves inside the Bollywood circles.

The trade analysts say that Laal Singh Chaddha’s failure is more shocking than Rakshabandhan’s as Aamir was coming back to the big screen after four years. The film had huge hype going for it, but the boring trailer and dull music ruined its prospects. On top of that, the Boycott wave against the film also dented its collections.

Many on social media are saying that Bollywood collapsed after the failure of LSC and Rakshabandhan, and there’s no hope of it getting revived.

But there are optimists as well who are saying that Brahmastra, Vikram Vedha, Ram Sethu, and Bhaijaan are still there to come, so all is not lost yet.
