Shruthi’s film in trouble with Censor board!

In recent days, Censor Board is stirring up problem for a lot of films. The latest film to run into trouble with the CBFC is Shruti Haasan’s Rocky Handsome that stars actor John Abraham opposite her. Apparently, the censor board has deemed the film too violent for mass consumption and has granted an ‘A’ certificate to it. However, the filmmakers disagree and are pursuing the matter to get ‘UA’ rating.

The Censor Board of film certification however is of the view that the demand is unreasonable. According to them, the film was granted a clear ‘A’ without any cuts which is to be expected for films with such content that is not suitable for certain sections of the audience, like children.

Taking the example of the original Korean film ‘The Man From Nowhere,’ the CBFC says that no censor board would allow films of this kind to be universally exhibited.
