Shruti dabbles singing in multiple languages

Tollywood bombshell Shruti Haasan has crooned yet another song and this time it’s for the lanky lad Vishal’s forthcoming Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual Pooja. The actress who is also playing the leading lady of the film also dubbed her lines for the first time in Telugu and reportedly her dad Kamal Haasan who has a strong command on the language helped her to hone her Telugu speaking skills. Recently, Yuvan Shankar Raja – the music composer of the film has recorded the song and interestingly Shruti claims that it was a different experience singing a song in two languages.

“It was a different feeling to sing the same song in Tamil and Telugu. I’m keeping my fingers crossed to see the response of the audience,” says Shruti. The film, directed by Hari of Yamudu fame, recently wrapped up the climax at Golconda and the cast will leave for Europe to shoot a couple of songs.

The film is set in the backdrop of Pollachi and moves to Patna where in Vishal will be seen as a micro financier. Radhika Sarath Kumar is playing a doting mother to Vishal in this action entertainer that is poised for October 22 release on the occasion of Diwali.
