Shruti- 150 Cr Film, It’s Like Walking on Eggs

It’s finally confirmed that Shruti Haasan is going to play the titular role in the Tamil movie ‘Sanghamitra’ alongside Jayam Ravi and Arya which is publicized to be the costliest film ever made, costlier than ‘Baahubali’.

The actress didn’t like to reveal any details of the movie, even to reveal whether it is going to be a period film based on historical facts. Who is ‘Sanghamitra’? Is she the daughter of Ashoka, the great or is it a fictional character? Shruti has got no answers because the makers of the film don’t want her to reveal the answers now.

If it is a Rs. 150 crore film, it would be Shruti’s biggest budget film till date. Riding with back to back successes in the South, Shruti’s inclusion in big budget films is going to boost up the business quotient of any film.

This movie is already said to be trilingual, which might go for a simultaneous release in Telugu and Hindi. Shruti is a pan-Indian star, anyway.
