According to trade insiders, it is being believed that Shruti Haasan is likely to replace Tamannah Bhatia to feature in Srinu Vaitla’s Aagadu with Mahesh Babu. The news is yet to be confirmed but sources from the unit say that a lead heroine is yet to be finalized for the film and it most likely will be Shruti.
The news might be true because Shruti is considered a lucky charm in the industry. All the Telugu films she has starred in the recent past turned out to be blockbusters, while Tamannah is desperate for a hit. So Srinu Vaitla didn’t want to jinx his success streak and probably has roped in Shruti Haasan.
Aagadu is expected to go on floors from November. This will be second collaboration between Vaitla and Mahesh after Dookudu, and the pair is likely to repeat the feat.
