Actor Siddharth, who recently completed shooting for Tamil film Jigarthanda, has started his next film which happens to be an ambitious project. He has started working on the Tamil remake of recent Kannada blockbuster Lucia. A film about lucid dreaming, the film was received well when it released in Kannada last year. It even won awards at several international film festivals.
C.V Kumar who produced hit films such as Pizza and Villa will produce the untitled remake under his home banner Thirukumaran entertainments. Apparently, his project was a bilingual but we wonder why is not being made in Telugu with Siddharth. Is it because of the controversy Siddharth was involved in last year with Telugu industry. Since then he hasn’t signed a single Telugu film.
Lucia remake will be directed by an associate of Karthik Subbaraj named Prasad Ramrar. The film’s shooting will be completed on straight 35 days.
