Sidharth & Samanta join hands expressing dissent

Twitter is best social platform chosen by the alleged ex-lovers Sidharth and Samantha to voice their opinion publicly. Many say that Samantha got this habit from Sidharth. Of course Samantha used this social medium very effectively both for her films’ promotions and also for promoting many social causes like ‘Pratyusha Support’ for which she is rendering help for helpless children and women.

Latest both Samantha and Sidharth expressed their dissent on the ban of the rapist documentary ‘India’s daughter’ using their respective twitter accounts. Sidharth explains the ban on the documentary is indicating ‘DARK AGES’ and questions why a film about rape in the US military is a yes, a documentary about rape in the Catholic Church is a yes but why a ban on a film about rape in India.

Samantha too tweeted on the same lines venting anger on ‘Ostrich Mentality’. She says that one who believes in the validity of their own beliefs should welcome dissent. At best, they engage with it and at worst, ignore it. Ideally, they learn from it either way. She further adds that world’s largest democracy is presently in a pitiful identity crisis after banning the documentary. Do you agree? The documentary may be fine but what about the psychotic rapist given a chance to voice his opinion (Individual freedom of speech for the brute!)
