Silly Rumors On Allu Arjun And Mahesh Babu

Strange are the ways of fan fights on Twitter. We have one between Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu fans. It all started when AP Minister Perni Nani in a media interaction mentioned how the revenues and Tax paid for 2020 Sankranthi releases – Sarileru Neekkevaru and Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo do not match.

Allu Arjun fans have started circulating memes that Andhra Pradesh Government sent a notice to Sarileru Neekevvaru team to pay up 20 Crore Rupees due to the Tax mismatch. Mahesh Babu fans in turn circulate similar memes saying that Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo team has to pay 30 Crore as Tax penalty.

While this may be a good bait for fan fights, it is devoid of basic logic. The theater owners are liable to pay the GST to the Government on their collections but not the distributor. This is a silly rumor and such verification of DCR of each and every theaters and cross verifying with the Real crowd that watched the movie is impossible.

For heaven’s sake, the industry has enough problems from Andhra Pradesh Government. Fans better not give any new ideas!
