One Drops out of Shankar’s Indian 2

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ under the direction of Shankar has started bankrolling (going by the poster release by the director, himself) and here comes the news that one of the crucial actors who was roped in for playing an important role had chosen to walk away from the movie. He is none other than actor Shimbu.

It must be surprising to know that any actor will choose to walk out of Shankar’s movie but Shimbu did that. He had some financial issues with Lyca Productions that is bankrolling the prestigious project. There are allegations that the production house didn’t pay his remuneration for one of his previous movies and hence, the actor doesn’t want to work with them.

Simbu is anyway not in the current league of upcoming heroes and he lost it down somewhere embroiled in a lot of controversies. Somehow, his career came to a standstill and nothing seems to be promising for his career. Missing this opportunity might not look like a wise decision but it’s his decision and he has every right to act in a movie or reject it, isn’t it?
