Before the trailer came out, not much was known about Skylab. Now, pretty much everything is understood about the film. Skylab is set in the late ’70s in a village in Telangana. It features the background of the crash of Skylab.

The different characters are inhabiting the village and the inherent fun they generate is Skylab’s premise. It focuses on a doctor and a reporter played by Satya Dev and Nithya Menen, respectively. The whole narrative gives an oddball tale vibe, and that ultimately seems to be its USP.

Apart from Satyadev and Nithya Menen, Skylab also features Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Ramakrishna, Tharun Bhaskar and others in critical supporting roles. The tone and fun these characters generate are adequately shown in the trailer.

Many known faces are present in Skylab, which is helmed by a newcomer Vishwak Khanderao. He is also the writer of the movie. Prashanth R Vihari provides the music which goes well with the mood of the film.

Check out the trailer below. Nithya Menen turns producer for the first time with Skylab. She jointly produces the movie along with Prithvi Pinnamaraju. The comedy-drama will hit screens all over on December 4th.
