Swati and Nikhil Siddhanth starrer ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ which is a Telugu movie proved to be a lot more successful at the USA Box Office than the recently released Bollywood movie Rangrezz starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa as the lead.
Directed by debutante director Sudhir Varma, ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ had the maximum weekend collection chart in USA. Although it was released on a limited number of screens in America the film managed Rs 23.51 lakhs ($43,262) from only 13 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. Rangrezz on the other hand collected Rs 2.35 lakhs ($4,318) only from 11 screens in the country. In the meantime another Telugu film film ‘Mirchi’, which hit the theatres almost six weeks ago, is still flourishing and its earnings are nearly as much as that of Rangrezz.
