When films garner mixed opinions, all the blame is put on reviewers and critics. Recently a news channel even took up a discussion like debate on the role of online reviews and are they really spoiling the talk. Ofcourse like any other issue, there are always some who take sides to prove their point. Like heads and tails on a coin, it’s common sense to understand that such issues have both pros and cons inevitably.
Coming to Oohalu Gusagusalaade, though the film was released a while ago once again it became the centre of discussion for movie lovers. The three big films namely ‘Rabhasa’, ‘Power’ and ‘Aagadu’ had disappointed the movie goers with the routine stories they have offered to the audiences clinging to the routine pot boiler formula of punch dialogues, larger than life characters of heroes, repetition of roles and stale comedy.
In this scenario people understood that among the recent releases, Oohalu Gusagusalaade stands out amongst the crowd with a refreshing story with lots of Telugu nativity and natural flow of dialogues with subtle comedy flowing undercurrently. Hope film makers understand what really audiences want and stop torturing them with mass routine formulaic recipes they have evolved for their safety. Please respect audience.
