SOS promotional video – strictly average

Few years ago when Trivikram made his first film with Bunny, a video song was released for its promotional purposes. There was a good deal of hype built around it and the video came and it added to the buzz and then film opened after which it was forgotten.

Almost a repeat of that is being witnessed now with the promotional video for Son of Satyamurthy where feels mere functional in advancing the buzz to the whole enterprise. It is too true to the terminology ‘promotional video’ and has very little to be remembered after the release of the film. If one were to compare one could say the Julayi video looked more interesting compared to this thanks to its snazzy, pop video-ish editing.

Check out the video below. It just about manages to pass muster and one could do away with it for a few days to keep the buzz going before the makers latch on to something else. Last heard they were planning an audio success meet in Vijayawada?
