South Remake rights wouldn’t be sold to Bollywood!

This might seem to be a big imagination which might not turn true. Many of the present Bollywood reigning stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan restored their stardom through remakes of South films which resurrected their drowning careers at one of time.

‘Kick’ went to Salman as ‘Kick’, ‘Vikramarkudu’ to Akshay as ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and Singham series to Ajay Devgan. Rana Daggubati who is now considered a pan-Indian actor after the success of Baahubali thinks that South remake rights wouldn’t be sold to Bollywood from now onwards.

Reason is simple. South matinee idols have the capacity to lure multi-lingual audiences to theatres and hence the concept of bilinguals and trilinguals concept. Rana Daggubati also is travelling on the same lines doing multi-lingual languages as actor and also as an producer.

Presently Rana Daggubati is gearing up for remaining part of Baahubali part 2, which he says is almost 50-60% complete. Besides the magnum opus, Rana’s platter is full with projects from different languages.
