Suriya’s anticipated film Scene directed by Jithu Madhavan is all set to hit the screens on November 6th as a Diwali special. With only a few days left until the release, the Scene team has now started promoting the film through interviews and participating in events.

In one such interview, the director opened up about Suriya’s characterization in Scene and how the film materialized. His comments are now going viral on social media.

Director Jithu Madhavan stated that Suriya has delivered peak comedy in this film, on par with his old blockbuster films like Ayan and Pithamagan. He believes that Scene will work for audiences across all centres.

Furthermore, after watching Aavesham, both Suriya and his brother Karthi called and appreciated him. Reportedly, the director has been in constant touch with Suriya ever since. Most of the stories he wrote after Aavesham were set in Kerala and he developed the Scene script from those ideas. When he narrated the script to Suriya, the actor liked it and the project went on the floors within three months.

Additionally, he mentioned that both of his previous films, Romancham and Aavesham, were loved by Tamil audiences. When talking about Scene, he claimed that it will be a blend of crime, comedy, romance and thriller. It features a distinct character for Suriya, complete with a stylish look, comedy and action.

Following these comments from Jithu Madhavan, many people feel that it seems like Scene will be a fun-filled entertainer similar to Aavesham. Also they believe that Scene will emerge as a massive blockbuster upon its release, helping Suriya maintain his success streak.

Meanwhile, many Suriya fans are now even more hyped for Scene and are eagerly waiting to witness a fun-filled Suriya on screen, especially since he hasn’t done an out and out entertainer in the last few years.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Scene will satisfy the expectations of the audience and emerge as a blockbuster success upon its release on November 6th.
