SPB’s touch to Preminchali

We all know that SPB sings with precision and passion, and his fans will get to hear him soon in a very emotional song in Preminchali, which is the Telugu dubbed version of Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer. The original was crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja, but producer Suresh Kondeti thought otherwise.

Suresh, who bought the dubbing rights of the film, decided to make SPB sing the song because he felt it would leave an impact in the audiences. The song features in the climax as a young orphan yearns for his mother’s love. Initially, SPB didn’t give his nod to the song but after he read the Telugu version of the song written by Bhaskarabhatla, he simply couldn’t refuse.

He had personally called the writer to congratulate the song before he agreed to sing the song. Preminchali was very well received in Tamil, although it didn’t make much money. The Telugu version is slated to release by end of November or early December.
