Spirit: Vanga Sets Impossible Target with Prabhas?

Film trade analyst Komal Nahta recently invited Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the hot seat of his podcast show. Their discussions and Komal’s interesting questions urged Vanga to open up about his expectations from his future in the films.

A fan question has gauged the most exciting response from him and fans feel thrilled after it. Vanga has always given his heroes the highest grossing projects of their career with his directorials.

Even the controversy and objection over social media can’t stop the fans from emerging to the theatres in massive numbers. With Arjun Reddy he gave Vijay Devarakonda his biggest hit of his career till that time, same repeated for Shahid Kapoor with the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy named Kabir Singh.

With Animal, Ranbir Kapoor got his biggest hit crossing 500 crore in India and 900 crore gross earnings worldwide. If his track record is to be kept in mind Vanga is expected to give Prabhas his biggest blockbuster with Spirit.

The fan question was that Prabhas’ biggest hit Bahubali 2 has already earned 1800 crore. So, is he targeting 2000 crores with Spirit?

While it seems impossible to netizens who feel achieving something bigger than Bahubali 2 is near to impossible, Vanga said that he just focuses on making interesting films for his fans. Breaking records is something that happens eventually, his primary target is focusing on making good films.
