Sreeleela Breaks Silence on Viral Video: “Stop Assuming”

A small moment from the pre-release event of Ustaad Bhagat Singh turned into a major talking point on social media. During the event, Sreeleela was standing beside Pawan Kalyan on stage. Behind her stood actor-comedian Mahesh Achanta. In a short video clip that went viral, Sreeleela suddenly turned back and looked at Mahesh. He responded with a smile, but she appeared serious and turned away.

This brief exchange led to a wave of assumptions online. Some users speculated that Mahesh might have done something mischievous or distracting. As the clip spread, the situation was blown out of proportion, with many people reading too much into a few seconds of footage.

Mahesh Achanta shared the same clip on his social media and clarified that Sreeleela had earlier given him her phone to hold during the event. When she turned back, he assumed she was asking for it, but in reality, she was simply looking at the big screen placed behind them on stage.

Today at the Ustaad Bhagat Singh press meet, Sreeleela also spoke about the incident. Sharing her side of the story, she clearly stated that the situation was completely normal and had been misunderstood.

She explained that everyone on stage was fully focused on Pawan Kalyan’s speech at the time. Sreeleela also appreciated Mahesh Achanta for clarifying the issue earlier. According to her, she had briefly turned back due to a small sound disturbance. Since Mahesh had earlier helped her by holding her phone, he assumed she was asking for it when she looked in his direction.

Sreeleela emphasized that it was purely a case of miscommunication. She pointed out that it is common that such short clips go viral without proper context, leading people to create their own assumptions. “When there are no words, it is common for people to assume things,” she said, adding that people should avoid jumping to conclusions without clarity.

She also mentioned that she saw the viral video on Instagram and felt upset about how it was being interpreted. Clarifying further, she said there was no arrogance or ego involved in that moment and described such labels as unnecessary and exaggerated.

In conclusion, Sreeleela made it clear that nothing unusual happened on stage and that the entire situation was blown out of proportion on social media due to misinterpretation.
