Sridevi Ashes Find Their Way to the Roots

Majority of the Tamilians wish their ashes must be immersed in the sea waters at Rameshwaram, the holy city in Tamil Nadu after their death. It must have been Sridevi’s wish even. That could be the reason why Boney Kapoor brought her ashes to Rameshwaram.

On Sunday, Boney Kapoor, Kushi Kapoor and Jhanvi Kapoor flew from Mumbai to Rameshwaram with the late legendary actress’ ashes in an urn. A picture of the trio immersing the ashes in the sea water surfaced online. They are the last mortal remains of the diva who ruled the silver screen for decades.

It must have been a tough time for the family to deal with the death of the actress, especially, Sridevi’s teenage daughters. After the pandemonium created in the name of sensationalism by the media, the various theories floating around with regard to her demise came to a standstill.
