Sridevi’s Final Rites With State Honors

The final rites of legend Sridevi will be conducted with state honor from the government of Maharashtra. Sridevi’s body was covered with tri-color as the cremation took place.

Hoards of fans turned out to see the final glimpse of their screen goddess. The police had to resort to lathi charge to control the crowds all along the way. They were seen holding placards, photos and flowers expressing their love for the legend one final time.

Earlier in the day celebrities poured in from across the film industries to pay their respects to Sridevi. As the sun dawns in few hours, an era ends in Indian film industry, that has no parallel, before or after. We wish the ’Athiloka Sundari’ Sridevi well and truly rest in peace.
