Shock: Sridevi has Passed Away

With a heavy heart, we present you the breaking news of Athiloka Sundari Sridevi has passed away in a hotel of Dubai. Sridevi, her husband Boney Kapoor, and younger daughter Khushi were in Dubai to attend a marriage when this tragedy happened the reports say. Sridevi’s other daughter, Jhanvi was left behind in Mumbai due to her prior shooting commitment, they say.

Sanjay Kapoor, brother-in-law of Sridevi confirmed the news. “Yes, it is true that Sridevi passed away. I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don’t know more details yet, he spoke to an English tabloid.

Sridevi is 55 years old. Once a star heroine, she went off the radar due to her family commitments. But She has started her second innings with English Vinglish in 2012 but is being choosy in the projects. After English Vinglish, she acted in a Tamil film, Puli and Bollywood film, Mom. Both the movies did not do well at the box office.
