Srikanth wants to be new Babu of Tollywood!

Many senior heroes started realizing that it’s time they stopped playing main lead characters and move on to accept character roles. But their main interest is not just character roles but negative roles; courtesy the success of Jagapathi Babu.

Now, senior hero Srikanth also is ready for accepting negative roles as he can see he is no longer hero material to carry a movie on his shoulders. Though he wants to follow Jagapathi Babu, will it work for this actor who is known for his soft roles?

Srikanth might have played villain roles in the beginning of his career. But they were not so popular and he never played a main villain even then. Take the case of Rajasekhar who wanted to play negative roles but no offers came his way.

Rajasekhar also did a couple of negative characters in the initial days of his career. So, of late ‘wanting to be a new JB for Tollywood’ has become a trend for senior actors.
