Srimanthudu goes one up on Baahubali

And thus begins the journey of Srimanthudu in the post Baahubali storming wake. This latest update ties in to what we had updated previously which highlights the risk ahead of Srimanthudu film.

According to new update from trade, the makers of Srimanthudu have already locked in massive amounts as part of benefit shows in Nizam area. This amount that is being heard right now, although not yet official as we are quite some time away from the release, is bigger that what Baahubali has collected through its benefit shows. So if the amount for Srimanthudu turns out to be true it means Srimanthudu will be one up on Baahubali already.

Nizam is still a strong area for Mahesh Babu but the same scenario is expected to be repeated in other areas like Ceded, Nellore etc too where the star is relatively weak. The makers are clearly taking the risk of going ‘big’ with Srimanthudu. One has to wait and see what the final results will be in this process.
