Rajamouli -First Telugu Director To Make US TV Debut

SS Rajamouli is currently in the US, and he is on a whirlwind tour of the country, taking it to a global audience. He is promoting his film RRR prior to the Golden Globes and upcoming Oscar nominations later this month. He will be appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers on January 9 as a guest, making his US talk show debut.

The filmmaker, who is being hailed as a global storyteller, will join America’s famous comedian’s show as a guest along with actor Alison Williams. For the unversed, RRR at Beyond Fest was sold out in a record 98 seconds, and there was never been such a filming of an Indian film earlier.

Rajamouli is accompanied by his two leading men, Ram Charan and NTR Jr. At Golden Globes, RRR has been nominated in the best international film category and for the best song Natu Natu. Meanwhile, Indians in the US are elated that SS Rajamouli and RRR will now be known globally.

In the past, Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor were among those who appeared on North American television as a part of a series of talk shows.

It is a first for a Telugu filmmaker, and the Telugu audiences in the US are super elated.
