Star couple finally part ways permanently

Last December, the decision of the star couple to part ways and apply for a divorce came as a big shock to Bollywood. When Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan announced the mutual decision of parting ways from his wife, many hoped that they would change their decision at least for the sake of their two kids Hridaan and Hrehaan. Many of their close friends and relatives even tried to save their marriage but in vain.

They have applied for divorce in April 2014 on mutual consent. Finally the court has granted them divorce on the grounds of mutual consent. The decision on the custody of the children is yet pending. Hrithik and Suzanne Khan were childhood friends and got married after a courtship of 4 years in 2000. Due to individual choices they chose to part ways in 2013. The decision came when Hrithik was facing a very tough phase in his life, down with brain surgery.

While Hrithik maintains that it was the choice of Suzanne to walk out of the 13 year long marriage, Suzanne says that their divorce decision came out of individual choices they made to move on with their respective lives. Though many things were written regarding her decision to divorce Hrithik, both the childhood friends maintained silence and dignity throughout, resisting from making allegations and counter attacks and saved their relationship from becoming murky.
