But later, there were speculations that Rajinikanth intervened and he almost succeeded in bringing Dhanush and Aishwarya back together. At one point, it was heard that the couple would call off divorce and get back together upon the efforts of their families.
However, the latest development has reignited the divorce talk again.
On the occasion of Diwali, Rajini’s family spent some time together and celebrated the festival at his residence. Aishwarya and the kids took part in the celebratory events but Dhanush was nowhere to be seen.
“If Dhanush was really getting back with Aishwarya, he would’ve definitely attended Rajini’s Diwali bash. The fact that he did not attend such a major event in the family could say his marital life with Aishwarya is as good as done.” A netizen commented.
