Strange: No U.S. Premieres Today!

In a strange turn of events, the USA box office is not having any Telugu film premieres this time around. As many as half dozen films are releasing this weekend but not a single one of them have gone for USA premieres.

Namely, 7 Days 6 Nights, Sammathame, Chor Bazaar, amongst others are releasing on the 24th of this month. Though these films, and other ones aren’t necessarily expected to do wonders in the USA, one would expect them to at least have premieres.

For a budding hero like Kiran Abbavaram who is awaiting the release of Sammathame, it is very useful to have USA premieres in order to build a market for himself in the now-crucial USA belt.

Same with Akash Puri and his upcoming release, Chor Bazaar as well. But strangely enough, neither of them have opted for USA premieres.
